Fortune Coins 2 Bonus Buy: 50x vs 100x Compared

Fortune Coins 2 is one of the few slots where buying the feature raises your theoretical return instead of lowering it. Here is what each tier actually delivers.

Why the RTP goes up, not down

In most slots, buying the feature costs you between one and three percentage points of RTP. The studio prices the convenience. TaDa did the opposite here: both Fortune Coins 2 buy tiers return more than the base game.

The reason is structural. The base game's 96.46% has to fund a long tail of tiny fruit-line wins as well as the bonus. A purchased entry skips the fruit economy entirely and pays out of the bonus distribution alone, which is a tighter, better-behaved model. TaDa passed the difference back rather than pocketing it.

Fortune Coins 2 bonus buy result — Lock and Respin round with sticky gold coin collecting 103,100 and silver coins at 200, 300, 500
A purchased entry drops you straight into this: fruits gone, coins only, three respins on the clock.

Is 100x worth double 50x?

The RTP difference is 11 basis points — 97.11% against 97.22%. On paper that is close to nothing. Doubling your spend for a tenth of a percentage point of expected return is not the argument for the premium tier.

The argument is variance. The 50x tier guarantees entry with one or two coin piles. The 100x tier guarantees two. Two piles means more coins in flight, higher collection totals, and a materially better shot at the upper end of the distribution. You are buying a narrower, better-centred outcome, not a higher average.

The arithmetic nobody puts on the box

At a €1 stake, a 100x buy costs €100. The Grand jackpot pays €1,000. The maximum win pays €10,000. Buying the bonus does not make the Grand more likely to appear — it only guarantees you are in the round where it could. Twenty consecutive buys at €100 costs €2,000 and expects to return about €1,944.

When buying makes sense

  • You have a fixed session budget and limited time. Ten buys at 50x costs 500 units and gives you ten guaranteed bonus rounds. Five hundred base spins costs the same and expects three.
  • You are testing the game. Two buys in the demo teach you more about the respin round than 500 demo spins.
  • You want the tighter distribution. The premium tier's two guaranteed piles reduce the chance of a disappointing round.

When it does not

  • You are on a small bankroll. A 100x buy is one hundred spins of exposure in one click. Two bad buys and a ₱13,000 bankroll is at ₱0.
  • You are chasing losses. The buy button is the fastest loss-chasing instrument ever put in a slot. Treat it accordingly.
  • You value session length. Extra Bet at +50% raises trigger frequency far more cheaply than buying outright.

Fortune Coins 2 FAQ

How much is the Fortune Coins 2 bonus buy?

Two tiers exist: 50x your bet for guaranteed entry with one or two coin piles, and 100x your bet for guaranteed entry with two piles. At a ₱65 stake that is ₱3,250 and ₱6,500 respectively.

Does buying the bonus lower the RTP?

No — it raises it. The 50x tier returns 97.11% and the 100x tier returns 97.22%, both above the 96.46% base. This is unusual; most studios charge RTP for the convenience. TaDa passed the difference back.

Is the 100x buy worth double the 50x?

The RTP gap is only 11 basis points, so not on expected value alone. What the premium tier buys is a tighter distribution: two guaranteed coin piles instead of one or two, which means more coins in play and a better-centred outcome. You are buying reduced variance, not a higher average.

Can I buy the bonus in demo mode?

Yes. Both tiers are selectable in demo play with virtual credits, and they behave identically to the real-money version. Two demo buys teach you more about the respin round than several hundred demo spins.

Does the bonus buy guarantee a jackpot?

No. It guarantees entry into Lock & Respin with a set number of coin piles. It does not make Jackpot Coins more likely to land, and it certainly does not guarantee the Grand. Twenty consecutive 100x buys cost 2,000x your stake and expect to return about 1,944x.
